This year, P&V sponsored one of the Camborne School of Mines’ teams in the International Mining Games taking place at Camborne in Cornwall from Thursday 29th to Saturday 31st March.

In attendance on behalf of P&V were Steve Harper, Phil Harper and Yves Salat, cheering the teams on.

Schools of mines from around forty countries compete every year in the games whose events are based on traditional mining techniques such as, mucking, sawing, gold panning, drilling and hand steeling. There are also a number of team bonding events giving the games a great feel of camaraderie.

Being the only UK manufacturer of Rock Drilling tools, P&V were a natural choice in sponsoring the event and were very proud to do so.
